Yoki Studio

"Introduced to yoga in 1998, Ellie fell in love with it when she was 18. She went on to complete the 500 hour training at Ruth White Yoga and started teaching in 2004, running her own classes and teaching at gyms. Ellie opened her own studio in 2007 - Yoki Studio. She teaches an Iyengar inspired style with strong anatomical and alignment focus, drawing influences from seniour Iyengar teachers such as Carrie Owerko and her own teacher Diane Sage. Yoki Studio has hosted classes with highly regarded teachers such as Drew Stallcop and senior Iyengar teacher Susan Vasser. Drew introduced her to The Great Yoga Wall in 2014 and Yoki Studio is one of a handful of UK venues with this unique rope wall system. Ellie now specialises in this teaching method, offering her students a unique yoga experience.

Ellie also offers Reiki treatments, since completing her Reiki master course in 2016. "Some students can reach new depths of relaxation due to the energetic effects of Reiki on the meridians and chakras".
