TESTIMONIALS

I thoroughly enjoy your classes, yes, this happens even when I am tired and grumpy. I love yoga and the fact that I do what I love in a company of a fabulous teacher is fantastic. I must have done something good in the Karma world to get this in return. - Tarana

I have been attending Ellie's class for just over a year and I cannot believe the stretches, the poses and the many bendy things my body can do at the end of a hard, tiring day thanks to her watchful and skillful guidance. She encourages us to focus, achieve both physical and mental balance and challenge our ideas of what we think we can't do! I relish every class I have with Ellie not just because of her depth of knowledge and understanding of yoga but also because of the way she imparts that to us in such a personal and genuinely caring way. I may never achieve the lotus position or rest my ankle on the back of my neck but Ellie will never give up telling me it's possible. -Karen Wilson

"Under Ellie’s careful tutelage I have advanced considerably in yoga. From being an absolute beginner in January 2003, through her I have learnt about many different aspects of yoga and become a competent and regular practitioner. Her enthusiasm and knowledge have been a tremendous inspiration to me, to the point where I am now learning to teach yoga myself. Ellie’s concern for my safety and welfare in her classes is thorough and professional: I always feel entirely safe no matter what new postures we attempt." - Steve Hill, Guildford

Lowering oneself backwards over the seat of a hard chair onto the floor may not seem at first glance the ideal movement when one has lower back pain! Much to my amazement though, after the class, my lower back pain, which has troubled me for approx 8 years (necessitating daily painkillers) slowly subsided and now I’m happy to say I am pain free- of course this ease of movement didn’t happen overnight, and the advanced yoga poses have only been achieved after a year of regular yoga classes(2/3 times a week) with Ellie, who is a dedicated, intuitive, patient and fun yoga teacher, who really takes care of you and your individual needs/limits resulting in me being more supple, energised, relaxed and pain free! -Michele Cotton

"I'm a 58 year old City lawyer who travels a lot on business. I'm also a cyclist. I turned to Ellie and yoga as a complete beginner when I realised my lack of flexibility - and resultant aches and pains - was becoming a problem. Until I started with Ellie, I had thought yoga was only for bendy people. Ellie patiently taught me the basics.  Two years later I'm still going to see her every week. By banishing the aches and pains and helping me understand more about how the body works, those sessions have literally changed my life. Ellie is a natural teacher. Whatever your ability or physical condition, she makes yoga an enjoyable challenge. She focuses on good technique to help you get the most out of each session."
